Life Coaching and Neuro- Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Every decision we make is shaped by a clear sense of purpose. Our journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.
NLP is a practical, conversational approach that explores the connection between thoughts, language, emotions and behaviour. It can help you become more aware of the patterns that may be influencing how you respond to situations, make decisions and move towards the things you want to create or change in your life.
Sessions are guided in a supportive and individualised way, with space to explore what may be happening beneath the surface — including limiting beliefs, automatic responses, emotional associations and familiar thought patterns.
Depending on your goals, techniques may include anchoring, reframing, visualisation, future pacing, language-based exercises and other structured NLP tools designed to help you access more useful emotional states and develop different ways of responding.
People may choose NLP to support areas such as confidence, motivation, self-belief, decision-making, emotional regulation, changing unhelpful habits and gaining greater clarity around personal goals.
The Woman Within Motherhood Method
-
You may find this program helpful if you have been thinking:
“I don't really know who I am outside of being a mum anymore.”
“I love my family, but I feel like something is missing for me.”
“I have goals, but I keep putting them off.”
“I know I want something to change, but I don't know where to start.”
“I want to feel confident in my decisions again.”
“I keep repeating the same thoughts or patterns.”
“I feel guilty whenever I prioritise myself.”
“The things that used to matter to me don't feel as important anymore.”
“I want to create a life that works for my family without completely losing myself within it.”
“I know there are things I need to let go of, but I'm not sure what they are.”
You do not need to arrive with all the answers.
That is what we explore together.
-
Every woman's circumstances are different, so your sessions are tailored to what is happening in your life.
Over the 4–6 weeks, we may explore areas such as:
Who Are You Now?
Motherhood often changes identity in ways we don't necessarily stop to examine.
We look at who you were, who you have become, and which parts of yourself you would like to reconnect with or develop further.
Questions may include:
Who am I when I am not fulfilling a role for someone else?
What parts of myself have become quieter since becoming a mother?
Which parts of my old identity do I actually want back?
Which parts am I ready to leave behind?
What matters more to me now than it did five years ago?
What would I like my children to see me modelling in my own life?
Beliefs & Patterns
Sometimes the obstacle isn't knowing what we want — it is the beliefs we have developed around whether we are allowed, capable or deserving of pursuing it.
Together we can explore thoughts such as:
“A good mother always puts her children first.”
“I don't have enough time.”
“It's selfish to spend money or time on myself.”
“I should just be grateful.”
“I can't change things until the children are older.”
“Everyone else's needs are more important than mine.”
Rather than simply replacing one statement with another, we look at where these beliefs came from, whether they are still useful, and what a more balanced perspective might look like.
NLP-based approaches such as reframing, anchoring, visualisation, future pacing and structured questioning may be incorporated where appropriate.
What Are You Ready to Let Go Of?
Not everything that worked for an earlier version of your life needs to follow you into the next one.
This might include:
Expectations you have placed on yourself
Other people's expectations
Perfectionism
Comparison
Guilt
Certain commitments
Old goals
Habits that no longer fit
Relationships or dynamics that require new boundaries
The belief that everything has to be done by you
One question we may return to throughout the program is:
“Is this still serving the life and family I am trying to create?”
-
What we repeatedly focus on can strongly influence what we notice, prioritise and act upon.
Part of the program involves becoming more deliberate about where your attention goes.
For example, instead of repeatedly asking:
“Why can't I keep up with everything?”
we might explore:
“What actually deserves my time and energy right now?”
Instead of:
“Why don't I feel like myself anymore?”
we might ask:
“What would feeling like myself in this stage of life actually look like?”
The aim isn't to ignore difficult circumstances or force positive thinking.
It is to develop a more useful way of looking at the choices available to you.
-
Your Goals — Not Someone Else's Version of Success
A major part of the program is working out what you genuinely want.
Not what you should want.
Not what social media suggests motherhood should look like.
Not what your younger self planned ten years ago.
Your goals might involve:
Career or business
Family life
Relationships
Health and wellbeing
Confidence
Finances
Creativity
Social connection
Personal development
Education
Travel
Lifestyle
Spirituality
Simply having more space for yourself
We then turn larger ideas into clear, realistic next steps that can fit around the life you currently have.
Making Yourself a Priority Without Making Your Family Less Important
Prioritising yourself does not necessarily mean prioritising yourself instead of your family.
Often the more useful question is:
How do I create a life where both can matter?
We explore what looking after yourself actually means for you.
That could include:
Creating protected time for something you enjoy
Asking for more support
Redistributing responsibilities
Setting boundaries
Returning to work
Working less
Starting something new
Reconnecting socially
Creating financial goals
Resting without feeling the need to earn it
Pursuing something that gives you a sense of purpose
There is no single version of what a confident mother should look like.
The goal is to help you create one that feels right for you.

Item descriptionThe work doesn't only happen during our conversations.
Between sessions, you may be given simple reflection exercises or practical activities designed to help you notice patterns and apply what we have discussed to everyday life.
Examples may include:
Life Audit
Looking honestly at areas such as:
Family
Relationship
Career
Finances
Health
Friendships
Personal time
Purpose
Fun
Personal growth
You identify what currently feels fulfilling, what feels draining and where you would most like change.
Belief Audit
Notice recurring statements such as:
“I have to…”
“I should…”
“I can't because…”
“People will think…”
Then explore:
Where did I learn this?
Is it always true?
What does believing this cost me?
What might I believe instead?
Energy Audit
For one week, notice:
What gives me energy?
What drains me?
What am I doing purely from obligation?
What do I keep saying yes to when I want to say no?
Future-Self Exercise
Imagine yourself 12 months from now feeling genuinely satisfied with your life.
Explore:
What has changed?
What have you stopped doing?
What have you started doing?
What boundaries exist?
How are you spending your time?
What are you proud of?
What decision did you finally make?
Then work backwards to identify the first realistic steps.
The “Let Go” List
Create three columns:
Keep
What is important and working?
Change
What needs adjusting?
Release
What no longer deserves your energy?
Weekly Focus
Choose one small intention for the week.
For example:
“This week I will ask for help once instead of automatically doing it myself.”
or
“I will spend 30 minutes exploring something that is just for me.”
Small actions are often more useful than creating an overwhelming list of major life changes.

We work on practical next steps, boundaries, decision-making and maintaining momentum.

Item descriptionBy the end of the program, the aim is for you to have:
Greater clarity about what matters to you
Better awareness of your beliefs and behavioural patterns
A clearer understanding of what you want to keep, change or let go of
Personal goals that reflect your current stage of life
Practical strategies for protecting your own needs and priorities
Tools you can continue using when you feel stuck or uncertain
A realistic plan for your next steps
A stronger sense of who you are becoming
This isn't about creating a “perfect” life.
It is about becoming more intentional about the one you are creating.
For the mother you are and the woman you’re becoming
The Woman Within Motherhood Method is 6 week individual life coaching program designed to help mothers reconnect with themselves, understand what they want from this stage of life, and begin making intentional changes that support both themselves and their family.
This is not about becoming the person you were before children.
It is about discovering who you are now — and who you would like to become next.
Your Family Matters And So Do You.
You can deeply love being a mother and still want goals, interests, purpose, independence and experiences that belong to you.
The two do not have to compete.
The Woman Within Motherhood provides a dedicated space to explore what you want from this next chapter — and begin making choices that feel more aligned with the woman, mother and person you want to be.
